When something small makes a big impression.

Very creative design project from Leonardo Rosa Borges senior graphic
designer in Memac Ogilvy Dubai...

The challenge: With growing economic concerns and shrinking marketing budgets, we needed to tell clients and prospective clients that in spite - indeed because of the recession, we are more relevant to them now than ever.
What we needed was a simple, cheap and effective way to do this.

Solution: We created undersized business cards with appealing designs and thought provoking lines to drive potential clients to www.ogilvyonrecession.com; a website offering smart strategies to deal with the downturn.
Responses were overwhelming. Aside from being an engaging icebreaker with our desired audience - we had produced an insightful, relevant and targeted campaign, by saving rather than spending.
